Well it is 8:30 PM EST on December 31, 2017. I think I can safely put a close on this blog for 2017 and give you a review of the improvement in the sites statistics.

All in all, a very good year thanks to you. I apologize for the drop off of content do to the new job, which may take some time to settle into, but I hope to return stronger. Until then, please feel free to leave me comments on what you liked best and least so I can improve my interaction with such great people. Happy New Year. Bones.
Most of my adult life I have been considered to be a negative person. If you look at a lot of my earlier posts you may find it easy to go along with this point of view; even I have believed it. However, if you take time to read enough of the short stories I have posted on my Patreon page, you will find a surprising reality. Many of my stories have up beat endings.
Some spoilers ahead, “Dragon Dreams”, while full of battle and strife, is essentially a dream come true for Jason Conners. He becomes a creature that can turn his creativity into a reality through dreams. What writer/artist would not love that. The story “Cast the First Stone” deals with the end of Nazi Germany in a very brutal and graphic way with the death of Hitler, yet it holds out hope for us all with the potential for redemption.
My artwork almost always focuses of the beauty of life. “Quiet Strength – Silent Vulnerability” deals with the potential man has to destroy the majestic tiger. However, the image is very beautiful and vibrant and the symbolism used expresses my love for space, the stars, the planets, and big cats. “Rodeo” deals with suicide and Hell, but the story that accompanies this painting ultimately is about hope and salvation. So while even I sometimes believe that I am a negative person, my stories and artwork paint a different picture.
I have been busy working on the Termanicz project but I am also spending time adding information to the Kickstarter project to show the value. I have included a close up of the tiger to show off the eyes that can be seen in the print and also an image of the actual print and documentation for the $30 reward. This is a great value for $30 because the image size is 10.5″ by 25″ with a 1″ border making the distinctive eyes of the tiger clearly visible without increasing the cost of the print by tripling the size. Finally, I have included an image of the painting I would like to print next “Universal Eyes – Infinite Sadness”. Please consider supporting this project. For only $30 you could get yourself an iconic image that will catch the eyes of anyone that sees it. Better yet, get several as gifts and help me continue bringing great content to this sight and please pass on this post.
P.S. I forgot to mention that the shipping and handling are already included in the $30 reward level.
Today my blog officially doubled the number of views over the record setting number of 2016 with four and a have months left to go. Your continued support gives me hope in my endeavors and hopefully sparks ideas for you as well. Please, if you like what I share, add my posts to your facebook, twitter, or other type of social media. I need as much exposure as I can get to help my Patreon page come to life, giving me some much needed financial support to continue creating content.
I guess you have noticed that I haven’t posted in awhile. A combination of reasons are the culprits for lack of verbosity not the least of which is a lack of readers. Sad as it is, I don’t get to have very challenging discourse in my life so I had hoped for more discussion on my blog posts since that is how I like to sharpen and correct my ideas. That being said, another reason for not posting much is a weary world view full of a negative image of the human condition and American attitudes. I believe my country has become so enamored with its rose colored portrait or so jaded by our ingrained corruption that we are unable to look at the realities of our situation. Combined this with the fact that some of my ideas for posts are so complex with numerous subtle layers to portray that I have not had the energy to face trying to put them into words. I hope when I do try to write them some of you will drop by and help me hone the unwieldy beasts into some semblance of intelligent thought.
However, for all this sour talk, there is one more reason for my lack of interest. I have been happily working on my house. I took out a loan this year, unfortunately playing my part in this farce of an economic system, to do some overdo remodeling. So far, I have had the cellar waterproofed (may need a follow-up visit though), had several rooms of flooring placed, and removed five very ratty looking trees. I still have a lot to do yet, but I am finally making some progress. I am nearing completion of the room nearest and dearest to my heart, the library/computer room. For a long time, I have wanted a place to proudly display the books I have spent decades accumulating. A few more touches and it will be a reality, including a recliner perfectly suited to falling asleep will reading a good book. I will post some pictures once it is done and in proper order.
